After months of planning and preparation, the MWest Challenge has finally come to a close. It was truly a unique collaboration between Richard M. and Helen DeVos Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) at Grand Valley State University, West Michigan College and Universities Group, and Spectrum Health Innovations.

On Thursday April 20th, Spectrum Health Innovations sponsored the MWest Innovation Showcase. Students participating in the MWest Challenge presented their ideas with a poster and had the chance to win cash prizes totaling $5,000!

Following the student poster presentations was keynote speaker Craig Dubitsky. Craig Dubitsky, founder of hello products, gave an enthusiastic talk about his journey as an entrepreneur and his current product line. Students were so inspired by his words of wisdom that they lined up to speak to with him afterwards!
